The English Standard

Introduction

What Is The English Standard?

The English Standard is the official documentation resource for Standard English; a prescriptive form of English that respects the foundations of the English language and provide a clear, standardised form of communication for applications where clarity of communication is the highest priority.

This standard is informed by the principal of greatest historical precedent and written by native Englishmen, making it the most legitimate strain of English as it takes the most enduring precedent for the lifetime of the English language as it's foremost criteria for determining entry into the standard and is derived from the languages source.

We believe that change should not be informd by misunderstanding of basic grammatical principals and rules. If one takes offense to a word due to misunderstanding it, the onus is on him to correct his misunderstanding. This makes our standard stable, enduring, and resilient.

The English Standard aims to provide an authoritative account of the English language for learners of English and native speakers wishing to better understand The English Language.
